I'm not sure if you realize this but it is illegal to take wildlife (of any sort, that means frogs, fish, turtles, whatever) out of the wild to keep as a pet. You can be very heavily fined if you're caught, and in some cases people have gone to jail for it. I'm not kidding.
If you want a frog that badly go find one at your local pet store. Most of them are at least used to humans. Say you do catch a frog in the wild, and keep it as a pet.. chances are high that it'll die from stress and improper diet/living conditions anyway.

I found a small frog outside a gasoline station on a very rainy evening. I had to let it go because I didn't have the time to take care of it properly like the kind of water it should have. How warm you should keep them, omg, it was difficult. Check out this website:

My son brings them home and throws them in the pond. I would recommend tadpoles tho. Sometimes an adult frog will be too scared and will flee, then he won't know where the water is and they need water.

You shouldn't catch frogs and keep them as pets. Just buy one at a pet store, they don' t cost that much.

I don't think you should keep it ..but we grew up on a creek and my sister and I would find frog holes and stick a hose down and flush them out with the water . theyd jump right out then wed race them.. then let them go.....didn't hurt em I think they had fun too but to keep em ya gotta get some flies and bugs and feed them live stuff.

it can fiind it's own pond and be happier than if you do it for him leave it alone and if you want it as a pet claim it as one and leave it
