WHAT. Are you saying I should leave him just because I was hoping we could get to know each other better??

Yes it is true.
People seem to display interesting facets of their character when subject to physiological stress. Divorce is process where as they say “a men is forced to extract his valet through a very thin orifice of his genitals”. (Don’t even think that I’m taking the male side on this matter if judgment is to be passed it needs to be done on case-by-case basis.) Each divorce is a unique experience and is a plethora of emotional stress. Divorces can get ugly and in the process we may push the psychological buttons we never realized were there in the first place.
However on certain and exceptional occasions we may just get pleasantly surprised to see that our exes are decent people.
But then again, what do I know? I’m just a fly on the wall.

Yes it is true. I was married for 20 years. The man I divorced started coming out to my house , never stopping just driving by. After 3 years of being seperated and divorced I meet someone that I started dating. My ex would call him at work pretending to be someone else. Would try to start problems. Funny thing is....I never would have imagined that he would ever do that. I never knew he had that side to him..... So in my case , I never really knew how much of an *** hole he really was...lol

Yes...men let their true petty, selfish, jealous and cruel selves shine through the minute you leave their ***. in my experience they also beg you to come back and when you say no they then decide to call you all sort of hateful names and wonder why you left anyway??? they also develop strange attachments to things that during the marriage they didn't care for. things like waffle makers and oriental bird figurines. go figure???? next time i tie the not i am marking all my stuff with masking tape and my name.

I think you never really know how deeply you can hurt a man by rejecting him legally.
