I know this sounds not so cool to you, but you are in junior high. There will be other guys in your life, don't mess it up by doing anything foolish. If you feel that you want to be his girlfriend, talk to him and tell him so. Be honest and calm, talk to him about the ecard, and find out the real feelings behind it - and trust him if your gut feelings say to. If not, gosh, you have a long time before major commitments should be happening. Allow yourself to enjoy your teen years, don't trap yourself by trying to do whatever it takes to keep the guy. If he has a friend, so what? You have to let it go, people need friends of both genders, there is nothing wrong with it. If you are going to be jealous over every card that says luv or miss you, you will have a very stressful life. Good luck and relax!

It all depends on what your gut says. As women, whether young or old, we have that feeling. It all depends on what you have observed while their together,or have you ever seen them together? If you have to even ask that question, you have doubts. Just ask him; if he gets mad then says these words (why do you even have to ask me that question?) Then try to hug you, because he got mad and does not want to kick up any dust and need to make a quick save. Hand him a tissue and keep walking.

well, you said he is your friend, so sit back and wait, may be the best thing that has happened to him. if you feel more than just friendship for him, better make it known.
