Among those 5..I'd choose Led Zeppelin as they were also chosen 1st out of 100 heavy metal bands on VH1 (Black Sabbath was #2)...I do have my own opinion and I think The Who is right there as well...
U2 has been an amazing band for the last nearly 30 yrs
The Beatles probably made and sold the most
but the best band err singer of all time...is not here...I think the best singer of all time was Sinatra...the man was a frickin legend..

The Rolling Stones . They still rock just as hard today as they did in the 60's. While the others in this list are all great bands, the Stones have that certain something that continues to draw millions of fans around the world.

The Stones and Zeppelin are way overrated. U2? Give me a break! Pink Floyd is just a little too weird.

why would you WANT to choose between these bands? they ARE ALL THE BEST but if i had to pick I'd go with Led Zep. Robert Plant is still going strong too.
It would be a matter of taste and life experience.

well I actuallly prefer the doors, but out of them probably The Rolling Stones because most people can name more of their songs than any of others except for maybe U2 but thats only because theyre newer and still are recording albums.

pretty tough, cuz they're all great. but i'd have to say the beatles & led zeppelin. they're both classic. they just rock!
