Buy her a puppy.
The worst thing you could do is have a child or children when you really don't want to be a parent.
Mom's going to have to live with that one. Stand by your guns. You might change your mind later in life, but definitely don't do it unless you are certain it is what YOU want.

If you don't want kids, then your mom is SOL. Its your life. Anyway, I'm sure that you have lots of time to be young and free. Maybe one day you will want kids. To have a child because someone else wants you to would be ridiculous and rather irresponsible.
Buy your mom a puppy. She can love and spoil it and call it a grandchild.

Don't have your kids until you feel ready,.. and just ignore for now the idea that you mom wants grandchild...she must feel lonely, or in need of someone to take care of.

Don't have children. It is your choice, not anyone else's. If others need children in their life, they can go hold babies at the orphanage or do other volunteer work with people they already know. Plenty of people out there could use your mother's help caring for their children.

LMAO my mom is the same way.
I called her one day. She lives in a few states away. I told her that I had a baby. That he had black hair, green eyes like his dad. And that his name was Thorman Havard............then I said he does not cry much but I wish he would stop purrrinnggg all the time.
She hung up the phone. I laughed until my stomach hurt.

If you have cousins with kids, get them over to mom's house to visit. That will work with friends with kids too. You might change your mind about having kids if you meet someone who wants them - tell mom that.

moms always want grandkids. i'm the same way, i don't want to have any kids. maybe my sister will have some sooner or later. tell her that you have to live you life and if she wants a kid around the house to either have more herself or adopt someone else's. maybe have her work at a day care for awhile and she'll get her fill and you can have your peace.

DO NOT, and I repeat "DO NOT" have children for the sake of making your mother a grandmother. Having a child and raising a child is a HUGE responsiblity. HUGE! Your mother should not put that pressure on you - she is being selfish and not respecting your wishes.

It isn't your job to reproduce for her benefit. If she wanted grandchildren that much, she should have had more than one child herself. Don't have a child just for her, you won't be happy. If she is really that desperate to have children around, tell her to take in a foster child.
