First off, Semites are people from the middle East. The Arabs and only a small portion of the Jews in the middle East are Semites. The majority of Israelis are of European background and are not semitic.

And, more importantly, why doesn't the American public have access to the truth about the occurrences there? Why is it when Israel is on the offensive we hear more about the slaughter of Jews that happened more than a half a century ago than we do about things that are happening right now> Is this a red herring to keep our attention away from the slaughter?
(I do not intend to diminish the fact that innocent Israelis are killed, too. When Mamma cries, Jewish or Moslem, her tears flow just as freely)

Freedomhammer couldn't be more correct. 6 million Jews by Hitler, compared to 25 million Russians by Stalin or even the 2 million Japanese by America... No one says a thing about the latter two.
There have been some very prominent and influential Jewish people. Einstein and Feynman were Jewish. Spielberg is Jewish, as is Yehudi Menuhen (sp). Are they bad people? I would say no. I have Israeli friends and I have met other people from Israel. And they are nice people or at least they were nice to me. And for sure they don't like being in Israel. It is compulsory for them to be part of the standing army and they are sick and tired of the fighting themselves. As many as I have spoken to have said that they will get out of there as soon as possible. The common Israeli doesn't want to fight and doesn't want to shed blood, neither their own nor someone else's.
If you must blame someone blame the governments. Wars are always started by governments and people in power. The common citizen hardly ever wants war. But governments raise hue and cry "we are under attack" and everyone falls in line ready to fight.
Same case with Nazi Germany, Israel and even the USA. People in power have used those four words since times immemorial to incite people to wage war. Do the people in the government ever go to war? No! They sit in airconditioned glass offices and send citizens to their death. Everywhere, in every country, over and over and over.
Only when the common citizen will turn around and say, "we will not fight", only then will we have no more wars. I say put the political leaders in a cage. Let them duke it out. Let Olmert and Abbas duke it out. Let Bush and Saddam duke it out, or Bush and Ahmadinejad duke it out. Why should the common citizen have to suffer?

1. Because there are two sides to every question and you aren't listening.

2. Because you do not know history. Those who do not know history are fated to repeat it.

3. You have no cause to have rage. This discussion doesn't require rage. Do your research from many sources from both sides and perhaps you will temper your expression of your opinion. It is this rage in part which makes you anti- (pick a lable.)

Mostly you are anti-intellectual. That's not a compliment.

4. Dismissing the great atrocity of the Holocaust in WWII in which 6 million Jews died for the intolerance of ordinary people brands you insensitive at the very least. And yes, perhaps, even anti-Semitic. Because of what happened then and over the course of 2000 yrs of history, the State of Israel exists now.

5. Everyone here has access to many truths. What we do to learn about a situation determines how much access we have. Do your homework with an unbiased eye. You'll learn many surprising things.

Mostly, I hope you will learn tolerance and courtesy.

Red herring my backside. Almost seventy years ago 85% of my family were murdered in Nazi Germany. You can dismiss that fact as an annoying sentimentality. I will not. My family trusted non-jews to act with humanity. They could not believe that Europeans would slaughter them like animals. But we now know what you are capable of, and we take you very seriously. If I ever discover where you and your ilk are located I would have no hesitation to defend myself and more importantly my family.
NEVER AGAIN
I have some bad news for you. If Israel and the Jewish People are ever pushed to the point of annihilation we have a surprise for the rest of the Human Race. Israel will detonate between 200 and 400 thermonuclear devices BUT with one difference. All of the bombs will be clad in cobalt jackets. Nothing will live on this planet for 50,000 years after that. (until the radioactive cobalt 60 decays).
So you're stuck with us or we all die together, (Biggots, some innocents, and Jews )
You will all go with us.

Quite simply because the Palestinians have a 30+ year history of targeting civilians, which Americans find simply unacceptable. Also there have been many chances for peace (Camp David, Roadmap for Peace), and every time the Palestinians #$@% it up. Truth is, they don't really want peace, Camp David proved this. Don't get me wrong, when Israel goes on the offensive like they have recently, I feel for the innocent Palestinian people hurt or killed. If they do want peace however, the onus is on them to elect a government that has this as their agenda.. However, electing Hamas tells you all you need to know about what the average Palestianian wants.

I am guessing because the way you voice your oppinion comes off as one sided. This is only a guess as I have not read what you have said in the past. This is normaly the reason views of this nature are disputed as anti-semetic.
Violence goes both ways over there and is a fact of day to day life for them. Jews hold a deep hatred for Palestine and it flows the other way too. The problem most have is the difference between conventional and unconventional war fare. It is also the fact that too offten Palestinians target civilians intentionaly whereas the Jews for the most part try to stick to military and enemy targets. Differentiating between civilian and non-civilian targets is where most have an issue with the way the war is waged over there and it is in fact war. Hamas and others show no regard for the differance and therein lies my problem with it all but I can't speak for others.

Because no one speaks out when a Palestinian goes into Israel and sets off a bomb and kill innocent civilians no one says anything. People only cry out when Israel retaliates. Remember the Palestinian newly elected ruling party advocates the killing of Innocent Israelites. The leader of Palestine even said that his hope is to see Israel and all Jews wiped from the face of the earth...

anti Semitic is a political catch Fraze ,
that has become popular
when you don't really know what to say or whats going on ,you say antisemitic ,and this makes you some kind of expert with an opinion,

they think
the people that killed the most Jews are their supposed leaders
like the people who are responsible for the most Christian deaths ,are the eyes in the Christian pyramids

of all political, cultural.religious ,pyramids .all the eyes are related and loyal to other eyes(the ruling elite )

and all of their publics below are merely cannon fodder ,for their financial and political manipulations.

this is what the people refuse to believe or cannot comprehend.

that is why they get away with it

Wars are deals always have been ,in the concept of Divide and rule ,and to make business.

Actually, "semitic" refers to a group of languages including Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew. the Jews have usurped the meaning to refer to themselves as a people.

The term anti-semitic has been promoted by the Jews as something bad, but in all honesty I see nothing wrong in being anti-semitic. A question I have often asked myself is what is so bad about taking an anti-semitic position? I defy anyone who says I have no right to take such a position. If I were anti-Catholic or anti-Irish or anti-Mongolian no one would even care. But if I make a bad comment about a Jew then I am guilty of some sort of hate crime.

The Jewish lobby in the US has done much to present only one side of the story, the Jewish one, and the Jewish version of history is badly skewed in their favor. Most Americans have no knowledge of events in the Middle East, or in Palestine in particular, from the early 1900s up though 1948 and after. The Jews present themselves as innocent victims of unjustifed Arab hostility, whereas the facts would more likely lean towards the exact opposite.

In 1948 alone, Zionists destroyed over 400 Arab villages and towns, killing or driving off the inhabitants, and either destroying the towns or taking them over for Jewish use. Jews tend to forget about this part of history. I believe that this Zionist genocide against the Arabs is a primary root cause of the violence and hatered against the Jews in the Middle East today. The great Arab refugee problem began at this time, and all of this created a lasting sense of animosity towards the Jews that is very much alive today. Americans are profoundly ingnorant of the real history of the area known as Palestine, due in part to laziness and lack of concern as well as persistent and consistent Jewish disinformation.

The Jews have used the Nazi oppression and massacres as an argument against any negative attitudes directed towards themselves. Their suffering at the hands of the Nazis is all that matters to them, and we hear about this constantly ad nauseum. Yet Stalin killed upwards of 25 million Russians and Mao perhaps an even greater number of Chinese, yet none of that matters to them and thus is of no importance.

The Jews have created their own brand of racism that says that they can do no wrong, have never done any wrong, and anyone who speaks out against them is very much in the wrong.

I don't subscribe to this attitude at all, and I think that most of what the Jews do in the Middle East is wrong, and has been wrong sionce the 1920s. Unfortunately, the rest of the world has fallen for their self-serving revisionism, to the point where no one dares to say anything derogatory about a Jew, no matter what he does. I will say whatever I believe, and no one will shut me up, and because of this I have been called a Hitler (by a Jew, of course, who is in denial and does not want to hear it).

These same ones who have denied the Zionist genocide against the Arabs also proclaim themselves to be innocent victims. Lenin once said that if you repeat the Big Lie often enough eventually the masses will come to believe it.

See the answer below: Hamas is viewed by the Palestinian people as a welfare organization, providing essential human services including schools. " It funds schools, orphanages, mosques, healthcare clinics, soup kitchens, and sports leagues. 'Approximately 90 percent of its work is in social, welfare, cultural, and educational activities,' writes the Israeli scholar Reuven Paz."(1) That Hamas is a terrorist organization only is a false Jewish position, and is not at all the viewpoint of the average Palestinian Arab; he sees it as a beneficial provider of much needed social services. This is one reason why Hamas won the election, and NOT because of the violent activities of the small militant wing. The other reason was that Fatah was seen as basically corrupt and incomptent.

When reading about Hamas, take note of the source. Militant Jewish sources, which is almost ALL of them, will only dwell on the terrorist aspects of the militant faction and ignore the rest because it does not serve their purpose. I have read articles that dealt 99.9% with terror activity and only in a few words mentioned the considerable network of social servies provided by Hamas. For the Palestinians the emphasis is 180 degrees opposed to Jewish rhetoric.
