Butters.... for SO many reasons, but mostly because his childhood sort of reflects my own in a lot of ways.
My parents were kind of evil, and a lot of bad things happened to me. I could SO see my parents selling me to Paris Hilton if the chance arose. I was a very smart kid, but book smart.... not street smart until I was older, so I was sort of happy go lucky naive until I was around 12 or 13.
That and no matter what Butters does and tries to do right, it always goes wrong.... like the school photo, and then his parents ground him. My parents would do stuff like that ALL the time. Seriously, I was innocent.... I would just play with my GI Joe or Transformers, and my Dad would kick or bash stuff when anyone screamed, thinking I did something bad.... and I didnt.
So yeah, Butters.... I can totally relate to him growing up, and even later as an adult. *g*
