I do think that the Lakers need another player or two but Kobe's main problem in my opinion is he's the best and he knows it but he lets that carry into an attitude like his team mates can't play ball at all which effects their performance because they look up to him as a leader. He has an attitude like since he's better they're not real NBA players or something which is the real problem. I mean I like Kobe and watching him play cause he does some amazing things like when he did a 360 on a fast break 2 years ago with Jason Williams right in front of him without catching a charge but the way he acts sometimes is a real let down especially for people who supported him from day one and are still supporting him and wanna see more rings.

God,you are right. It is only good to sit back and watch him doing amazing things rather than bothering yourself with his behavior...but you can't deny he HAS GOT style.I strongly support your idea.

Kobe is a player who wants to win in every way possible the situation called for.. In the playoffs,he could have done all the scoring but he smartly "involved" his teammates in the game and took a 3-1 lead, Kobe knew that was the only way they could beat the suns, they played as a team but when it came down to a "last shot" to win it,he took it because he knew he could make it,and he did in game4,but as the series shifted momentum, his "inexperienced" teammates cracked under pressure. Thus losing to the suns, the only fault i see in kobe there is he failed to see that his teammates does not have the heart of a "Killer" so phoenix killed them in game7.. He should have took over, but he wanted to play more "team" ball..

Simply put, Kobe was matured and ready but his teammates were not..

As for his haters, its okay to feel that way,i remember the time when Jordan had so many haters too.. It even came to a point where MJ was the bad side of the NBA(BAllhog,no teamwork, bad example) and Magic was the good side.. Much like now with Kobe and James..

do these people even watch laker games? kobe passes much more than people think. he obviously knows he's the best player on the team but it's not about him thinking his teammates can't play ball. people need to get one thing straight...he DOES pass. i mean...how else does he rack up 5.1 assist/game? arenas, lebron, VC, wade all average 5-6 assist/game. for example, look at the final playoff game against the suns. he put faith in his teammates to make shots and they let him down. he was 8-16 and the rest of team was 24-75. if he "ballhogged" the whole game, maybe they would have won. what i'm trying to say is that they have no player that is reliable besides kobe. lamar was awesome in the series and he disappears in game 7....

if you want to talk about ballhogs, you gotta put lebron, AI, and even wade in the same sentence. plain and simple...people just hate kobe. there are other ball hogs out there but they only hate kobe.

Kobe says or does things that I don't agree with off the court. He does say stupid things sometimes that leave you wondering why am I still his #1 fan. I hear it from everybody, from my co-workers to my closest friends, "Kobe's a big jerk". Not exactly those words, probably more obscene language is used towards him. I believe that what he does off the court is his business and it has nothing to do with me. When he's on the court he's always the main attraction, he can't help but be the best player on the court. I don't think he tries to shut his teammates out intentionally, I think its just what it is. If your not getting the job done, of coarse your going to go with your best guy. And do the Lakers realistically have anybody else? I think Kobe leading the Lakers to the playoffs is a big deal in itself. I'm the biggest Kobe fan and I didn't think they were going to make it.

Well, we can't deny that the dude has skills and stroke, but you're right. He seems to have a superiority complex or something. He needs to let his teammates get the ball sometimes, because one day, he's gonna get squashed by a Shaq or Yao Ming, or a younger, bigger dude in the key in the middle of a lay-up and he's gonna need his team to pick up the slack.

kobe wont win another championship, period. he's a ballhog and he has very strong ties with the management and he'll make sure they wont get top-caliber players so that he'll continue to run the kobe show and not have to share the ball and compromise his greed to win the scoring title. all he wants to do is win the scoring championship every year and it wont impress anybody. he won those rings because of one man, and his name is shaq. kobe's head is so big that even he thought he could get away with raping someone. lucky for him he's got money to pay off everybody involved. so if you're rooting for this guy, baby you better start counting those scoring titles coz he's determined to win as many as possible...

I think that Kobe is a little upset because they traded Shaq to the Mami Heats. Now Kobe is the only great player that the fans is couting on now that Shaq is gone. I belive he is just under pressure now that Shaq is gone to Mami Heats.

did any of you that are saying he's a ballhog watch any of his games this year? especially the playoffs? he put his faith in his team and they scored most of the points in all the playoff games. i'm sick of everyone saying "i hate kobe he's so this and that" dudee you don't ****** personally know him, you can't really say he's soo anything. he passes the ball great and averages many asists. i bet 90% of people that say he's a ballhog have no clue about basketball.

I don't think he will ever change. A lot more people would like him if he wasn't so conceided*. But yeah, I have the same opinion, maybe one day the Lakers will trade him and he will learn not to be so full of himself.
