Of course! It makes me feel good that somebody bothered to answer my question whether to just get a point or not. Im sure you like it too!

I usually don't ask questions because they cost points.

I do have a question for you though. Why do you think you need an apostrophe for the plural word answers?

By using the apostrophe you have made the word answer's be possessive without a noun to modify. And now the sentence really doesn't make sense.

However, since most American students don't understand or follow grammar rules, everybody pretty much gets your question.

I like it when someone ANSWERS my questions with a serious, thoughtful response, not something flippant or clever that I could get from a third-grader. It shows respect for me, themselves, and the "system" of sharing knowledge. It doesn't matter what the category is, there may be a serious reason for needing to know.

One word answers like "yes", "no", "dunno" drive me up the wall!
Other pet peeves as long as I'm on the subject: people who ask the same question two or three times--I don't understand why it's necessary when they asked it only minutes before--don't they remember? People who respond with crude or hateful/rude answers. People who ask questions of a sexual nature that seem to titillate them. Do they need suggestions for a good adult book?

Yes, I do. It gives me many perspectives on the question I might have. Sometimes other people think of things I would NEVER think of. Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question with a valid helpful answer.

Yes, it's fun to find out other's opinions and thoughts on different things. And it is fun to read others questions and see how many people agree or disagree with each other.
