what do i do if i believe i am owed can i get paid?

my grand father and grand mother passed on when i was about 7 shortly after i was adopted i believe my grand parents who were not married both had left me money in there wills but i dont have all the info that i need what do i do to go about getting it and is it to late im going to be 25 in october WHAT DO I DO ???
