Get a "have a heart" trap large enough to hold the coon. It snaps shut behind them and does not hurt them.
The coons keep coming back for food, like from the dog dish. etc.
The only way you will get rid of them is to remove the food sources, or trap them in a trap like the one described above and move them to a new location. Call the dept. of fish and wildlife, and they will take the coon, after "you" have caught it.

Rabbits make great house pets. They can be litter box trained. You should check out this website.

Go to a hairdresser and ask her to sweep and save human hair clippings. Put them around the perimeter of your yard. I haven't tried it yet but am going to. I have read several sources that say this will work.
