North Korea testing missiles. First step in what could be a total disaster. It should definitely be taken seriously when a country(especially N.Korea) adds itself to the list of nuclear-warfare capable countries. We can't personally do anything about it. What happens, happens. Bush just figures they have a few steps to go and he will be out of presidency by then. Or if they start trouble it'll probably start a war. Another war, with one going on. Bush will do it. Maybe it's time to worry.

A lot of countries tests missiles all the time. The U.S. are constantly testing our weapons. I think the media and government officials are purposely making this into a bigger deal than it really is. The missile had sunk in the ocean too.

We need to get our priorities straight. North Korea can barely feed their citizens and poses no threat to anyone. We're being distracted from more important issues in Iran developing nuclear weapons.

I think their must be some hostility there. North Korea must have some plan or reason for firing the missiles. Nothing can be taken too lightly nowadays and I think the US and other countries should watch North Korea closely.

From a country that only has black & white TV sets, my opinion is that we should let them try and impress us with their backward Soviet-era technology.

Let the dear leader, Kim Jong Il sit in his 7-storey palace sipping expensive cognac and watching cartoons. Kim is reported to have fathered thirteen illegitimate children. His excesses are seen by many as an emotional front for his feelings of insecurity and loneliness. He is said to suffer from bi-polar disorder and severe bouts with depression. This was satirized in the 2004 film Team America: World Police.

So, in summary, let the man have his fun. When he dies there's going to be a helluva lot of confusion.

i had just started to reflect on this very issue today i am far from coming to a conclusion yet. all the major powers have had nuclear power for quite some time now, and i was starting to come to the conclusion that the new countries that are trying to obtain nuclear power are the countries that we have gone to war with. i think we would best be able to understand them if we could walk a mile in there shoes.

Since China thought that embargos proposed by Japan and the US were too strick, I'd say China is using N. Korea to thumb their noses at us. And Kim Jong Il is loving the attention since it makes his closed commie 3rd world country "look important" in the world theater

North Korea's leaders are provocative extortionists. Every time they want something, they act up, like a child would act up. Typically, they do it when they want foreign financial aid. They simply take the position that they will do something crazy unless and until they get money. They remind me of a child who says: "If you don't buy me a new bicycle, I'll scream!!!"
