I wouldn't start anything if you are going to be going away to college. I did read that yes you can contract herpes through saliva if the person is having an outbreak. That's just another reason to not date him. I do give him credit though for being upfront with you about having herpes.

Wow. Your 19? Sounds like little kid drama. Key points in your story:
1. He makes you feel weird and you are embarrassed by him being immature
2. He has herpes
3. Your moving away
4. You don't really know him
5. He is young and your out of his league

Do any of those things sound good to you? You didn't mention anything good, so I would say this is a waste of time.

Please do yourself a favor and find someone in college, because I know just from your story that you don't like him.

STDs are a serious thing. Remember that he will always have Herpies and if you are intimate with him you will probably contact the Herpies as well and will have it for the rest of your life. Is he worth it?

Chill out and move on. College will offer you a whole other world of people to meet and explore.

you should forget about him, and spend the next few months before you go to college (!?) concentrating on improving your writing and spelling.
