I'm guessing everybody leaves the most important person in their lives at some point. A parent or other relative, a good friend, a teacher or boss, a significant other - we've left them all, or will. Doesn't mean we can't go back sometime later.

I think if you end up leaving the most important person in your life you realize it after you have left them. So i would suggest to run and find them before they are gone forever.

Everyone feels that way when they end a relationship, but if they were the most important person then you wouldn't be leaving them.

Well this question seeming vague as to the particular relationship and reason. A wife or girlfriend I am guessing?
They can't be very important if you are leaving them. If they have made such an impression on you then why leave them?

been there, done that, and regret it to this day. even though we are still close, (26 years) i will never forgive myself for breaking up with him. he is still a big part of my life and i love him so much. we are both single, but he said he can't go back, so i'm ok with being able to be around him

when things in your life turn up side down.. when you don't have the passion anymore about anything... when you are in a room full of people and yet you're the loneliest person...
