REAL???? Not in this life time!

It is a staged show, made to entice fans in, sell tickets, t-shirts and star memorabilia. The fights are scripted and they know who will win before they step into the ring.

Professional Wrestling is considered Sports Entertainment. The outcome of matches are pre-determined and it is an exhibition. Usually the only time the ending of a match is different than what was scripted is when there's a major injury.

The last time I remember this happening was when Eddie Guerrero had just joined the WWE from WCW. He and Chris Benoit was scheduled to defeat the New Age Outlaws. When Guerrero hit a frog splash, his elbow was severly dislocated. Jesse James, who was with the New Age Outlaws saw this. He did a quick pin on Guerrero to end the match then called in the paramedics.

If you pay attention to all matches, you can tell when a wrestler is getting ready to toss an opponent into the ropes, you'll see him put his mouth to the guys ear right before he slings him. At that time, he's telling his opponent the move he's about to do or what counter move he wants his opponent to do.

Watch and listen closely and you will hear the wrestlers and referees are always talking to each other.

It's very real. REAL FAKE! LOL! If they got beat up like that for real, they'd be dead. The rings are all padded. It's like a big mattress. The only reason I watch is to see Trish Stratus and The Undertaker get beat up by The Great Khali. I watch for the comedy and the cool moves of Paul London. My favorite wrestler of all time is The Ultimate Warrior. I miss Nailz and Max Moon.

The storylines and the outcomes of the matches are scripted, but the wrestlers do put their bodies on the line, all for the purpose of pleasing the fans who pay to see them perform. Wrestling is a sport, but the WWE is just entertainment, which is why they call it "sports-entertainment".

Of course it's fake. It's very choreographed and soap-opera-like. Want some REAL fun? Watch UFC. Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock on Pay-Per-View this Saturday!

Of course it's not real! Still, John Cena and Randy Orton are HOTT, and it's funny to watch men all into their manly soap opera wrestling, so I love it. Nothing more American than a bunch of crude humor, bloody fights, hoes and booze!

It is really entertaining. But it is nor a real sport as in boxing. The guys are elite athletes though.

Are you kidding? I don't watch wrestling but I don't have to to tell you it's completely orchestrated. But, there seems to be a market so I guess we all gotta make a living right? My husband's cousin carves up corpses for the Medical Examiner.

Well, its not real in the sense of sport, but there is no doubt in my mind that those guys are athletes.

Anybody should be able to tell that the "Acts" are well-practiced and choreographed. Of course it's all phony.
