yep they can wear a minimum amount of make-ups, but fragrances are definately a big No. however, always remember to keep it subtle since you'll be working on a 12-hours shift so don't even bother with all the fancy details since they'll be coming off at no time. As for myself, i just use a tinted moisterizer and a tiny bit of blush + mascara (not even bother with eyeliner) also some chapstick to keep my lips moist. makeup kit is never a good friend to go to work with, especially a hospital job.

first of all, do you mean makeup? and second of all probably not because people could be allergic to the stuff you're wearing. And DON'T AT ALL wear any perfume, that would be horrible. Third of all if you are asking this question you shouldn't be working as a nurse because you should know this stuff

They are allowed to wear make up at a minimum, some of them do over do a bit. I would think that because of the nature of their job, being in constant demand because of their work load, they would find it a little uncomfortable to wear a lot of. I don't think however that putting on a little would have an effect on anything they do. Remember that women love to look beautiful, so if putting make up on makes them confident, then by all means do so!!!

I'm not a medical person or anyhow connected to the field. But logically, n hygienically i think its improper for a nurse to make themselves up.

Most of them do and I don't believe in that line of work they should wear make up or perfumes or hairsprays. So it should not be allowed in any of the medical professions.
