I just thought about this, does it hurt when you kill a small bug or arachnid? I mean, I don't think they have senses to be able to feel it, right?

Why do I care about a bug you ask? Why does anyone care about anything?

Oh and nooo I don't tortue bugs! lol

No. Even plants have feelings. Dr.Bose proved this a centuary ago. When you cut a tree, it cries. And it has been scientifically proved that Music (good music that is) has positive effect on the plant's growth. Now that's about plants. Do you think bugs have no life? Or is their life substandard than plants? Positively not. So be sure that when you kill anything, it gets hurt. And yes, even cockroaches have a substandard but active nervous system. I have seen it myself while dissecting.

If they had our size brains..and nerves..it would probably hurt as much as a giant killing you! Since they do not, they probably wont even know what hit them!

How can you compare an innocent bug ( or insect ect...since there are not really that many animals that are actually 'bugs') to someone who has been sentenced to death! Usually people who have been electricuted are normally people who have tortured a few people themselves..and plainly deserve what they get!

Sure they can feel. A spider knows when something has gotten into it's web by feeling the vibrations of the web. Many bugs feel vibrations and such when hunting or as self defense.

~It hurts the poor thing's surviving family members something fierce. I don't care, let's kill it before it spreads. No, on second thought, let's let them multiply. That way we can all step on one.

I do know that the last thing to go through a fly's mind when it hits the windshield is its a sshole, if that helps.

Yes actually they DO have extremely acute senses! And yes it probably hurts them every bit as much as if you got smashed! But only for a split second. You're not able to actually hear their screams (if they could actually scream) but do not discard their life so easily. And be extremely thankful their size and yours is what it is!!!!

Typically I step on them pretty dam hard so I doubt it. When I was a kid we used to burn all kinds of bugs with a magnifying glass, now I am sure that had to hurt somewhat.

I'd think it'd be just the same if someone snapped someone else's neck and killed 'em... i mean, if you smash a bug it's usually instantaneous anyway... plus i think they're only senses are their antennae... right?
