A negative pregnancy test, especially early, doesn't necessarily mean that you're not pregnant. If you've had unprotected sex you should go to a clinic or doctor to get a test done. It's not abnormal for a woman to "spot" a bit in early pregnancy rather than having an actual period.

There are other problems that arrise and cause a woman's cycle to change, so if it doesn't get better within the next couple of days you should definitely go see a doctor to make sure everything's ok.

Are you taking any birth control? When was the first day of your last period? Are you taking any other medication at this time? If you keep track of your cycles every month and you know how many days it takes for your cycle to come then go to the calander and start counting. If you are more than 2 weeks late for your cycle, then take a pregnancy test if not your cycle my be changing and you maybe getting ready to start. Do you have irregular cycles or have you in the past? Be sure to cover all bases before you get worried about being pregnant. We women go through so many changes, who can keep up have the time?

Another thing to take into account - have you changed or started any new medications lately? Have you been stressed? Even being on birth control pills, the "flow" of my period is affected by my stress levels.

If there is a chance that you have become pregnant, you probably should go get a doctor's test. Going to a doctor isn't a bad idea anyway, but this doesn't sound like too much of an emergency to me. (of course, I'm not in the healthcare field)

you're merely recognizing previous blood. The blood bypass has stopped yet your body continues to be engaged on getting all of it out. As blood a lengthy time period it turns brown. If it has a competent scent i'd advise going to the final practitioner although.

I don't know what is wrong, but it sounds like something is wrong with your period. It is not pregnancy. Are you taking some medications that you haven't taken before? Are you doing anything new? I would suggest that you go see a doctor ..
