A second interview means you made the short list. It depends on the company, but some interview the top contender a second time, and if it goes well, offer the job.
Some companies interview the top 2 candidates the second time. I would guess that few companies interview more than the top 2 for a second time. It costs too much.
Wait and see. If you don't hear within a week, don't get discouraged. Sometimes the week is an optimistic goal and it can take 2 weeks or more.
But you did great to get the second interview. Even if this company doesn't hire you, you are doing something right to get this attention and the next company probably will.
Good luck.

A second interview is good. What that means is that out of the candidate pool they probably called back the top 3-4 candidates. So congratulations on making the second interview.
It does not mean you got the job however. If they siad they will let you know in the next week - you will either receive a phone call indicating they would like to offer you the job, or you'll get a letter and/or call indicating they have hired a person more suited for the position.
I wish you the best of Luck and hope you get the job.

You'll find out next week then. When it comes to job interviews, it's difficult to tell if you'll get the job or not sometimes. You could feel like you did horrible and the interviewer(s) might think that you did great. You could think that you aced the interview when in fact, the interviewer thought otherwise. The best thing to do is to not overanalyze the situation and just relax. If you don't get it, keep plugging away for other positions. Hopefully you'll get the job though. Good luck!

If you got the job, they usually call you, but they may send a letter. They will also send you a letter to tell you if you didn't get the job. Usually something like" we regrettably must inform you that we chose someone else for the position". If they haven't contacted you, it is quiet appropriate to contact them and see if they have made a decision. This also lets them know that you are very interested and may hedge the decision in your favor.

It means that next week they will let you know. You aren't the only applicant in the world. They have a choice to make.

umm, you know you got the job if they get back to you. Give it a week, two at the most.
In the meantime, go on more interviews.
