I was at home, asleep and my husband called me and told me what happened. From that point on, I was glued to the t.v. wondering what would happen next.

This is a trip!!! We just discussed the happenings of 9/11 in training at the fire department tonight. o.o

I was in my car driving down Murfreesboro Rd. in Nashville. Turned on my radio and heard the news. Then heard about the 2nd plane crashing into the other tower. Had to work that day and took my youngest to the babysitter early. Watched the news until I left for work a couple of hours later.

I was at work. People kept asking if I could make their computers go faster, the web was too slow today. I was cranky at people who couldn't see that I was busy working (not even at a computer), and who wanted to browse the web. Eventually someone told me "A plane or missile hit one of the WTC towers, and a plane hit the other." That left me thinking it was a fighter that had dropped a missile while crashing or maybe two fighters. (I was thinking of the bomber that accidentally hit the Empire State Building a long time ago.) Eventually I came out of the back room and found out what was really going on.

I was getting ready for work and I went to turn on the t.v to check out the news. It was about 6:30am. I seen what was going on the towers were on fire (at that point I did'nt realize that it was a terriorist attack.) The 1st thing that popped into my head was thank god its so early no one should be there. Then I realized i'm in California in New York it was already almost 10am. Horrible!!!!

I was napping on the couch when I remembered my favourite radio show starts in an hour (it was 2pm I live in the uk) when I switched on the radio the guy said "we think it would be in bad taste to do our usual routine because of what was happening in America". And then said nothing more

Seing as these guys already have a weird sense of humour I thought that was some part of a joke and waited for the punchline but nothing happened then it suddenly occured to me that maybe they are not kidding as the guy said the exact same thing 2mins later. I then convinced myself to switch on the tv to find out what he was talking about and the first image I saw on BBC 1 was Tower 1 smoking...it seriously knocked me off my feet.

Mr. Kruszinski's global 9 class coloring a map. Another class had found out after turning on the tv when the teacher left. Mr. K. just wheeled in the tv and turned it on without a word.

I was asleep during the 1st Tower being struck ; then my family woke me and to my horror I saw the 2nd Tower hit on TV . I remember the following days with no planes in the sky . The day the first plane flew over my house, I was in the pool looking up , wondering when they would fly again . It was an erie feeling to see the first one . WE MUST NEVER FORGET .

At work.

My husband works at Smuckers and he had no idea what happened. None of them did until I emailed my husband. He had the direct email from CNN so I thought he knew...

We didn't really know anything until after nine am. When the reports were coming in. The first we heard about around 8 when we got there. But, that was it. Then someone was late and told us the second one hit.

I said 'Probably that dumb a$$ osama bin laden'. And the whole office said 'WHO?'. lmao
