I think it's true...
I saw this guy trying hard all night to help a girl for exam. But the next day, after exam, she had a party and invited lots of friends except this guy. Moreover they used his computer and TV without his acknowledge.
This is only a story but I saw many others.

Because girls are fickle and dumb sometimes and they have these hormones that exacerbate the whole thing. The hormones make them go for the guys that act like they're the leaders of their world. Dumb girls end up hooking up with guys that can't really be counted on to be true friends. Some only realize much later, after the hormones, that they want a dude that knows how to treat her with respect, not just something to be flirted with.

Did it ever occur to you that it's because guys like you go for unnattainable women? I'm going to take a wild guess and guess that she was a blond...
