(sorry for putting it in this category)
I've been going out with this guy and recently he's been acting weird like we arent together. Im wonderin what he thinks our relationship is. I think his idea is different form mine. I want to ask him what he classifies me as? One of my friends says i shouldnt ask because my feelings might get hurt. But then again i think its best for me to find out now from him instead of me finding out form other people. I need to kno so i can just let it go if i find out the relationship isnt where i thought it was. Should i ask or not?

Of course you should ask..I mean realistically that's the only way you'll get an accurate answer.....Communication is the key to any relationship , So to find out if you actually have one..You have to communicate to that person your feelings and ask him about his..to make sure you both are on the same page, and as far as you getting your feelings hurt. That's just a part of life, but you have to be able to speak your mind without letting your emotions get in the way!!
So your best bet would be to ask him his feelings towards you. So if he does consider ya'll an item ya'll can move forward and if not you can move on with your life and not ponder on what you thought could be!

You do beat around the bush. What are your expectation? Have you had sex? Things get more complicated after one adds that into the equation.

I have a rather expanded definition of lust - putting ones fantasies on an unknown. With that definition of lust I state most people date in lust, get engaged in lust, even marry in lust, about 5 years later after getiing to know the person discover if they are in love.

While dating you spend very little time with each other because in many ways you are too busy doing what is required just to survive. The person you are dating most likely wishes for you to like them, therefore, they are on their best behavior, & so are you. Little knowledge being advanced.

Finally most people get married the 1st time when leaving a property of state (identity) high school, college, military. 1st get to know who you are.

Whether you ask or not life will go on & you will survive.

I think you should ask because you need to know where you stand in his mind and in the relationship. You shouldn't go through a relationship without knowing if the relationship even exists so ask him so you can see where he stands and also tell him where you stand and what you are looking for so you guys can sort be on the same page

Good Luck!

I think that you should just ask him now where you stand with each other. Think about this-if you dont ask now and wait till later when you are more attached to him, your feelings AND your heart could get hurt. So just ask him, if he cares about you as a girlfriend or just a friend, he will just tell you the truth, and if not, hes not worth it.

Sorry, what is your question? What I mean to say is that you have this strange, abstract, girl-thinking way of talking and I think if you try to ask your boyfriend anything he's not going to understand anything you are saying. Try concrete, short sentences, devoid of abstractions. It might help your relationship. Communication, all that.

If he's acting like you are NOT together, then he doesn't want to be together. Probably because he's hookin up with someone else already. Best to just drop it if you want to stay friends or you're bound to get your feelings hurt.

Ask. Its the best you can do.

Sooner or later, you will face it and its best to know the thruth than living in a lie or confused.

If the answer hurts you, it will pass, dont worry: you will become smarter and more experienced.

Be strong.

ask..definitely. Better to be a little broken hearted now, than to let it go on and be much more broken hearted later....besides, maybe he will surprise you, and feel the same as you do...
Either way..you'll be fine, I promise...lots of fish in the sea...some you have to throw back. :)
