What kind of glass? Optical glasses or window, or something else?
If you are talking about glasses that you wear, there is no way to do this and not affect its optics.
If you are talking about other type of glass(es) there are polish, epoxy, and other type of fillers available. Bear in mind though, it is nearly impossible to do a perfect job.
You could check places such as automotive shop, window shop, home improvement center, etc.

It depends how deep the scratch is. Very shallow ones can sometimes be removed with VERY fine (000) steel wool. If that doesn't work, the scratch probably won't come out.

This is virtually impossible. You can take it to be machine polished and hopefully it might come out and disappaer all together.Alternatively you can try this trick take a little brass polish and coat its slowly over then scratch the polish afterwards. This works on lighter scratches.

Toothpaste works sometimes. Use it with a soft cloth or a toothbrush and it lightly sands the glass. It doesn't work on the thin glass on pda's though. It does work on drinking glasses.

you basically can't, just buy the scratch resistant ones... OR you can use extreme heat to flatten it out
