you definatley use less gas when you push the bike instead of riding it......this is a well known fact ....discovered by bikers who have run out of gas and travelled miles before the next gas station...pushing the bike doesn't need gas so therefore it doesn't use it up ...this fact allthough well known is not a popular method of travel for bikers....
