here is my idea!
Player: Lebron- he is only 21 and can take over a game any time.
Coach: Greg Popovich-He’s one of the best defensive coaches in the NBA. His teams are always prepared defensively, but they’re also extremely difficult to stop when they have the ball because he’s skilled at creating mismatches. Maybe the top coach at In-Game Adjustments. Perfect fit with Lebron because he can help him improve defensivly.
Mentor: Magic Johnson OR Oscar Robertson- both were do it all players like Lebron and both are influencial characters therefore its hard for me to choose one.

So how will you start your team? best idea (with details!) is best answer! :)

i'll build my team around lebron james. that's because he's so young and already is a very explosive player. he's virtually unguardable right now, and he's not even reached his full potential yet.
my coach will be pat riley. he is very knowledgeable about the game and coaches better at crunchtime thanks to his vast experience in the playoffs. he is also a great motivator and puts a premium on defense which he believes wins championships.
mentor - its gotta be jordan. he'll teach lebron about work ethic and help him develop the killer-instinct. mj sucks as a general manager but im sure lebron will pick up a lot about winning from jordan...

my starting lineup:
C -duncan
F -amare
F -lebron
G -wade
G -nash
6th man -kobe(he'll play limited minutes coz he's a ball hog)

Good question. If you asked this a couple years ago, I definatly would have said KG/Shaq, but now they're past their prime.
I would probably have to choose the most complete player in the game, LBJ. i can't think of anyone else whoe could carry a team like he does(xept Kobe).
Coach: I'm gonna say LeBron would be the player coach, cause he understands the game so well.
Mentor: Gotta be the Zen Master. No one better.

player-kobe bryant. yeah hes a ball hog and a bad guy but he gets the job done. anyone who can take a team full of nobodys and actually make them look good has my vote.
Coach-phil jackson. 9 championship rings is good enough for me. he is the best coach in the nba right now.
mentor-michael jordan. he cares about the development of the league on a whole. he cares about the development of players also. if that means he has to come back one more time and show the young players how to really get injured well so be it

Player: T-Mac because he really hasnt had his shinning time yet and he's a hardworker on the floor
Coach: Larry Brown because he can take on any type of player attitudes and he's been in the finals he can work well under pressure and knows the right plays to win games
Mentor: Dr.J just and Larry Bird because they're legends they know the type of words to say to keep the players focused because they've been there before.

Kings they get truly good paradoxically. Cousins and Evans are like a dynamic duo interior the game after a pair years. a real project may be the magic because interior the game they don't have any rebuilding blocks except Arron afflalo fantastically a lot.

Kobe Bryant coached by Pat Riley assuming this team had a lot of cap room to get other talent.
