What are some good activities for an LDS singles ward FHE night that are simple, easy, and fun?

I want it to be something easy, doesn't require a lot of time or effort putting it together. And something that everyone could easily get involved in.

I was in charge of our single's ward FHE for about 9 months. One easy idea is to have a speed date activity. Set up two rows of chairs facing each other, with boys in one row and girls in the other and every minute or two have the boys move down a chair.

You could also divide them into groups and have them play get-to-know-you games like "I never" or "I like you but..."

The really hard part, at least in our ward, was getting people to participate. They all just wanted to chat. But I guess that is what they were there for.

If there is a singles ward in your area, ask your bishop about getting permission to go. Usually you have to get your bishop's signature. I guess I've been in 6, between Sandy-UT, the University of Utah, Utah State, Midvale-Utah, San Diego-CA, and Tempe-AZ. The purpose of singles wards has already been addressed by some answerers. There are wards for age 18-30 AND 31 and up if you know where to look. The older singles' wards usually have an age limit like 40 or 45, by the way.
