Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Mr. McMahon. That's when the ratings were the highest and that's when wrestling was at its best. Stone Cold was never hotter than when he was feuding with Vince. Everyone could identify with that feud and every one got in to it. There were tense moments, funny moments, and great drama. Vince and Austin had great chemistry together. They were practically polar opposites, which made the feud so great.
Just think of all the memorable moments that came out of that feud: Austin and the beer truck, Austin and the zambonnie, Austin getting Vince arrested, Austin making vince pi$$ his pants. There was tons of stuff that came out of Austin and McMahon.

Oooo. I loved The Freebirds, but I missed that feud.
I would have to say, for quality of matches, no feud that I have watched has come CLOSE to Ric Flair v. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat. Mind you, Flair v. Terry Funk, ending in the I Quit match was very good.

I always liked the Kevin Sullivan vs. Chris Benoit matches from WCW. They were brutal, Mostly because Chris Benoit stole Sullivans real life wife.

The Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon fued is my all time favorite. I believe its actually listed down as one of the all time greatest WWE fueds. Though the fued actually took place back when WWE was still named WWF.
