Does a woman really have to dress a little sexy for a job interview, even if her resume is well put together and she is definatly the right person for the job?

If I was interviewing you, I would want you to portray yourself as an intelligent and professional person. If the job you are applying for requires sexiness, then dress that way. Otherwise the "sexiness" would become distracting (not that it wouldn't be appreciated, though). Good luck!

No, a nice conservative outfit is the best choice. Again, they are looking for a qualified applicant, not a model to stare at. Some places even avoid that (especially if you are interviewing with a person of the same sex) becuase they want to avoid conflict and distractions from other workers. If that is the first impression you make, then it will probably not get you the job - unless of course you are applying to be a stripper , a model or a bartender...

It depends on what kind of job you are trying to get. If you're going for a bartender position, or retail sales in a trendy/chic store, you'll want to be a little more flashy and probably even a bit sexy. For any other job, you want to dress professionally. Dressing sexy may help you get hired for *one* job, but you'll get turned down for dozens more before you get your first job offer. People won't take you seriously at all.

"dress to impress" out outfit must be business apporiate. It does not need to be sexcy, but appearence does count. there is a saying like " be a puper but dont appear like a pauper" So with the good resume and backgound with a little makeup and well dressed will sure have a great impact on the interviewer. good luck in your job huntting.

No, - Dress professionally, don't confuse the interviewer; it's their responsibility to find the best qualified person for the job.....They're not going to be impressed with "sexyness" unless there are other motives & they're going to expect something other than job performance.! Yuck.

Depends on the job. If you are applying for a stripper position you have to dress sexy. Otherwise conservative.

I wouldn't look sexy, should be proper formal business attire for all interviews, what ever the the lady equivalent to a nice suit.

I dresssed conservatively, and well for the job interview. The man who interviewed me was certainly not interested in my body. He needed a smart accountant, not a date.

You should NOT dress a little sexy.

Dress modestly and show that you are a person who has confidence in their abilities, not their body.

No she does not. Dress clean and appropriate for the job.
