Lynn I want best answer for this. The Anne of Green Gables series is one of the best series of books I've ever read. They're funny and has romance and also envelopes you into a world that you easily get lost in. The Harry Potter series is also exceptional and very funny and you can read that for hours without being bored. Memoirs of a geisha is also excellent. Much much much better than the movie.............you half to read that book to really understand and share the struggles and lifestyle of the main character!
