I've had an immense amount of trouble with telephone companies, they call up and say they have a great deal, and then when you change over, after 2 months they think they can charge whatever they like. I've called up to correct wrong bills about 40 times this year!

I also hate it when you are eating dinner, and the phone (that you spent so much energy getting connected) rings, and its some bloody idiot from India trying to sell life insurance or some other stupid thing!

WE have put our names on a do not call list, but since we move a lot because of the military, each new number we get, we get telemarketers calling. I would ask them not to call back, but a week later someone else from that company would call, so I started giving the phone to the boys and letting them talk to the callers about pokemon, yu gi oh or whatever they wanted to say.
When the boys are in school and I answer the phone I repeat what the caller is saying to me really loud like I can't hear them and they usually end up hanging up.

First, get on the Do Not Call list (see below).

Second, stop signing up for "better deals" from telemarketers who do get through.

Third, try unplugging your phone if you don't want to be interrupted.

They'll call back, if it's important.

I can't stand them!

In order to stop the unwanted telemarketing calls, register at www.donotcall.gov. Really don't know what to tell you to do about the telephone companies, though. They ALL suck.

I Love Them!!! Those telemarketers are perfect prospects for a good pitch. Most of them are dead broke and know it. Why else would they do that work?

*Telephone marketer joke alert*

How many telemarkers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

One...which coincidentally, is the same number it takes to screw and 80 year old lady out of her life savings.
