Checked both switches on the clutch pedal. Both switches function well and ohm out good. No brocken wires or blown fuse found. Jumpered both switches at different times. No go. Dash lights come on, signals/wipers/horn work. What could we have done wrong or was there a prep for this job?

there,s an adjustment on this switch,it is only supposed to make contact when the clutch pedall is fully depressed,,if it is reading positive when the clutch pedal is only half way in,,it,s out of adjustment,,it must make contact about 1 inch from the floor,,or bottom,,other wise it should start,,have you checked,,to see if there are any blown fuse,s,,also you may want to have someone try and crank the car,,while your under it ,,or on the starter switch wire,,but be care full,,make sure the emergency brake is fully on,,also i encountered this once,,does your car have to be in any certain gear while the pedal is depressed,,in order to start,,i know some car,s actually have to be in reverse,,with the peda Alway down to start,,that,s about all i can tell you right now,,but i hope this help,s get it going.
