My friend was just diagnosed with this and she has many questions - especially about the chances and risks of pregnancy. Please provide as much information and/or websites that be beneficial to her. Thank you

Another name for it is bicornuate uterus, or 2 horns. In your development as a fetus, the uterus is formed from the two sides coming together, so if they come together less completely, you have this condition. There can be a septum or division between the two halves, and it can be more or less. She can get pregnant usually, but it depends where the fertilized egg implants for how safe it can be. The uterus can expand enough to carry a baby to term but likely she will need a C-Section to deliver, as the cervix can have a hard time to expand. Good medical care throughout her pregancy is important, and it's better she knows now than later on when already pregant. Good info on the Internet.
