For a Honda Civic EX, that's a GREAT price...especially since you'll be saving a ton of money on gas with that car. Those cars can run up to $25,000...that's a great price! Go for it!!!

If it is a manual than you can get it for a better price but if it is an auto and this includes all taxes (out the door cost) then it is a good deal and you should go for it.

The list on the manual is 18460 + about 6% tax and $500 DMV fees brings it to $20,167.60. If you are looking at the manual trans you can probably get it for $17,900 out the door.

On the automatic the list is 19,260 + about 6% and $500 DMV fees brings that one to $20,915.60. If that is the one you are looking at take the deal at 18500

YES, thats a great price, EX, is an awesome model, all the great stuff attached, 2006, yeah that is a great deal, if you live in a smaller town, go to a bigger nearby city, enter the dealership late, closer to closing, preferablly at the END of the month, dealers have selling expectations to meet at the end of the month. try going down 1,000 see what they will work with

That's about right, I paid 18,500 for a 2004 Accord 2 years ago, though the price sounds a bit high for a 2 door....perhaps a 1,000 less mite be better....i suppose inflation took its tole...

I believe $18,500 is sticker on the EX. I don't know about where you're located, but here in STL they go flying off the dealer lots, so you probably won't get much off of sticker. There's probably a line behind you of people that want to buy it...

That is a very good deal, cuz the Civic go over MSRP....I know cuz i sell Hondas..... If you can get it that cheap i would run to the dealership not walk...... Their is not much of a mark up from the invoice price, its like $1500....and your getting it very close to invoice price, Remember that it is Motor Trend, Auto-by-tel Car of the year.......

not really, you're still getting a little markup over msrp. i don't know about the 2006 but when i sold at honda three years ago we always had about 2-3 thousand dollars in markup. but good luck trying to deal as they do sell these everyday at stickerprice.

I agree with the first person who replied.

You can talk them down lower if they really want to make the sell.
