Yes, it means that your mind needs something to do and is entertaining itself. In other words: it's BORED!!!!
We've all had a song, a commercial or whatever play over and over and over in our heads.....well, the best way to get your brain to cut it out is to spend about 10 minutes doing math problems or reciting the multiplication tables. It works every time!
And if you must know.....Mariah Carey's Shake It Off has been rambling around my head for almost 4 hours now.....I guess it means that it's time to switch to math!

i love music, i have so many different songs playing in my head, usually they are just songs i've heard on the radio or my ipod recently, lately it's been "life is a highway" by the Rascal Flatts and "welcome home you" by Brian Litrell
