I'm feeling your pain, so much has been left unstated. I would love to meet you myself, whether you're male or female, as a friend. So I hope you take this as a compliment. Pharmacy techs are smart and usually very engaging people, IMO, I was an LVN and dealt with a few of you. Hang in there, be open to new people, look for the one's that flirt gently, not crassly. Good luck with your family and your career. Never give in to depression. Throw yourself into your work for now, and be the internet romantic for all its worth until true love comes round. yes...without a doubt you will...I know it seems far fetched at first. And it should...
Figuritively speaking your naked right now...uncomfortable...your coming out of a very long relationship...now you have to go back out into the world...single...but trust me there are other people out there in similar situations...you just have to keep your head up and not lose hope. Right now...maybe focus on the other things in life like the kids...work etc...and let love find you...cuz trust me it will...i'm sure you have a lot to offer a relationship...and with the lessons you learned in your breakup...you will be very valuable to the single world...lookout boi's.... :-) take care...and well congrats...on a new start...you'll find happiness..mah pwomise!

Yes it is out there. Just don't get hoplessly stuck in a rut of the past and cling to yesterday. Do something that is refreshing. make some time for yourself.
Take a yoga class, join a gym. take a course in cake decorating, learn to speak another language, meet new friends. etc.

you are not the first to go through this type of situation and you will not be the last so we can move along it is not easy but we do it because it is for our children and then for you go and make it happen for you it's how we understand that the term you are not alone is true. good luck many of us have gone through it and we servived and you will too
