Please support your favorite artists and get music legally.

See why you should get music legally:

Also, on filesharing systems the quality of each song is oftentimes usually compromised because it's copied or shared (Notice that sometimes a song skips, is corrupted, etc.). What's worse, you can get nasty computer viruses and spyware from these shared files!

There are legal ways of getting music that don't cost a lot either. I subscribe to Yahoo Music Unlimited and it's awesome (it only costs about $5/month)! I have access to probably a million legal, great quality music. Check that out, along with the website above.

Personally, I like to support the artists that I like so that they can further their career. I wouldn't want to steal their music that they've put time and effort into.

you're not going to find free and legal tunes unless someone artist themselves decide to put a link up on their site or wherever. I go to allofmp3.com and get some albums for as little as 2 bucks. Some are 4 or 5 but you can't really beat that.

I can't recommend a specific site, but if you search for your favorite artists, very often they have a sample song or two online for download.

although the more popular the artist, the less likely there will be free music on their site.

if you happen to like iranian and arab music,... this site is fabulous, but that's all i can think of.
