when it comes to sports and other games, my high school baseball coach said it best: "If you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin"

Also I like the saying: "If you can cheat and don't cheat, then you're only cheating yourself"

Well I just might get banned for this one but what the heck...

Contrary to popular mythology, boys and girls are different. Boys are extremely competitive and markedly more so than girls. Hence, boys do not 'like' to cheat, but their distaste for losing is something they dislike even more.

Traditionally, girls chose games that are all-inclusive like hopscotch or rope-jumping where everyone wins simply by participating. Boys on the other hand chose games like baseball or dodgeball where there are clearcut winners and losers.
