When having a lucid dream, does time go by like it does in a normal day, with seconds, minutes, hours, etc.? Or does it go more quickly, like seconds being like minutes or something like that? Thanks!

I can only speak for myself. I have had dreams in which I believed myself to be awake and yet weeks and months seemed to go by in the dream. Since I was not in a coma all that time, time was obviously not passing at a 1:1 ratio. I was quite surprised when I woke and only a night had gone by.

For more details on the dream itself, see my previous best answer on the topic of dreams. It was very long and I don't feel like typing it all over again.

It depends on the dream and the dreamer. Some of the dreams I have had seemed to go on FOREVER.
