I would consider him one of the top 5 if you ask me! He has the record for most goals scored in World cup play! OK at least he has to be one of the top 3 strikers of all time! yes or no! Give me your opinion my beautiful friends!!!

without a doubt !!!!! Just imagine that he has become the top WC Goal Scorer and was deemed un-fit & Fat so we can all imagine what would have happened if he was fit and lean ~~~~~~~~

He ishands down in AT LEast the top ten, he has bounced back from a couple, possible career ending injuries, and gone back to the top. plus he is currently playing for one of the best( myfavorite team) in europe, which helps him get even better. HE will bounce back from his injury this year and will be ranked in the top 5 players next season. WATCH

I would rank him as the top player in the world right now, but I wouldn't put him in the top 5 of all-time. He is not on the level of players like Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, Lineker, Socrates, Romario, Maier, Muller, Charlton or Cruijff.

he did perform very very well in the previous worldcup. but so far in this one, not really! but i do consider him one of the greatest football player. he did enter the world records. ad he's not going to retire from international football until the next worldcup 2010, so, plenty of time for him to get even better! he is already a legend.
