it got steamed and it doesn't look like its in good condition, its never in a healthy looking condition like you see on the internet, but what should i do? thanks:)

Well, I've never raised one myself, so I can't say for sure, but here is a place where the experts tell you a whole lot of stuff. Maybe they have some help for you. If you don't see what you need in the questions, their FAQ's also cover just the general topics of light, moisture, etc. for each type of carnivorous plant. Good luck!!

The plant absorbs the liquid out of the fly's body yet its demanding body aspects at the instant are not digested and blow away in the wind even as the plant re opens. of route there is not any wind in a terrarium. possibly take the plant out of the terrarium and placed it in a pot so that you may placed it outdoors so it may seize its own nutrition? not in any respect provide it lifeless nutrition or some thing except flies. Beetles have reliable jaws and worms are truly not acceptable for carnivorous flowers.
