Bad answers. In some specific, highly regulated communities, there may well be a license required for almost any type of business activity. In most places, a young person who wants to make some summer money will not need a special permit or license to mow lawns.

Call your local mayor's or city's administator's office, and ask this question, since legal advice such has been given here clearly does not address all communities in the US. As I said, most places, no, but we don't know where you live thus any answer given here could conceivably be wrong.

NO!
The Constitution for the united states of America recognizes your right to contract your time of life for whatever you feel is just reward.

The definition of "license" is to obtain permission to do something that is otherwise unlawful.

working to earn your pay is not unlawful, illegal or immoral.

Same as marriage, you don't need a license to get married.
