No, if you ask me this whole 'video game violence' thing is just what it is. Virtual. Its a scape goat for the government for an increase in crime. Yes, more and more gory games are coming out, but just because you hear that this game is awesome because of it's details it gets into doesn't mean you have to buy it! There is a thing the ESRB came out with, its a rating. Minors can't 'legally' buy or rent games rated M, so if you blame the video games (for minors at least) you have to be g blaming the parents. Also just because you see a character killing another doesn't mean you have to. Think of a mosquito, it bites you, you smash it, and later if you pick the scab blood comes out. Does that mean you have to kill other insects because of it? I'll leave you to ponder this.

Only when some punk gets caught and needs a sob story so he can get off. If video games were the root of all evil we would be knee deep in sh*t. I play violent games all the time have no trouble deciding right from wrong.

StoneCold is right.

No! Of course violence isn't connected to video games. Now shut the &^%$ up and let me get of this site so I can go play GTA and blow some stuff up before I kill someone.

Yes, in part, but I think the thing that is really responsible is the millions of babies who have been aborted since Roe v Wade. When we devalue life at it's very beginning, we devalue all life. The problems are only going to get worse.

I hate all people that blame violence on video games. there are movies and all that out there that are way more violent. People are just stupid enough to imitate them.

Sometimes it is connected with the video games, I think people are too obsessed with video games and so sometimes they are the cause.

No, you would have to have had a lobotomy or be really stupid to want to emulate what you see in games/movies.
