I have been with my mate for 8 1/2 years and I'm still waiting.

We got engaged after a little over 1.5 years, dated long distance for 2.5 years.....got married a little over 3 years after we first met. Why? Well, a lot of factors...mainly that I had to relocate my life to be with him and admittedly, I was scared to do that, so I dragged my feet. But, looking back, I wouldn't change a thing.

I waited for almost 4 years but was engaged for 2 1/2 years. Mainly because of my age i was going on 20 when i married. Are you engaged yet? Why are you still waiting that is a long time. I thought i waited longer than most. Timing is everything, so hang in there.

I was with my husband for 5 yrs befor i got married to him. The only reason for that was cause I thought that he was the one. I figured that i knew him will enough to know him. Truns out that I didn't know him at all. Now after 9 yrs we are going thew a divorce.

6 weeks. i knew he was the 1 the minute i met him. been married 20 years. very happy.

12 years, don't know why, but I guess it was better that way, we knew of eachothers ups and downs, by then.
