Yes, 10pH is more like alkaline water. I asked him why we should drink alkaline water and his answer to me is that it's to neutralize the uric acid in our body. Wondering whether it's correct or not.

pH 7 is neutral, less than 7 is acid and greater than 7 is basic. Normal background levels of pH are in the range of 6 to 7. Safe limits are between 6.5 and 8.5.

whom ever said 10 ph is best was damn correct. you are all right, 7 ph is neutral, but because it is neutral and lacking electrons, it will actually rob you of vital minerals by taking away electrons in your body. Acidic water (anything below neutral) has the same effect and is likely to have more harmful compounds like fluoride, chlorine and even lye.

7.0 is neutral. Anything below this is acidic, and not good for you. hiOsilver is an oxygenated brand of water. It's pH is 8.4.

No, 10.0 is much to alkaline. Common water, due to purifying agents and minerals added, is typically around the 7.4-7.8 range. anything much higher or lower than that will take it out of normal range, and should be checked.
