10 years, and No. Marry the wrong person, then find a way out, wait 10 years and you will understand. My advice to all young kids who think that they just HAVE to have someone there all the time: Having no one but yourself is still better than being with the wrong person!! Besides, you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I was alone for almost fifteen years and do you know what? I really love myself and wish I was still living alone because no man is worth the trouble. I was going to say they are good for one thing, but then they fall in love and get needy, so you are back where you started.
I love my family, my work, I don't have a problem with being alone, but it seems that in today's society everyone expects you to be half of a couple and that isn't what it is all about.
I love me.

None of us are alone. We are souls (a part of the Divine spirit who are different but not divided from God) who are here to express ourselves in the next grandest version of the greatest vision that we every held about who we are and who we want to be.
However we may be under the delusion that we are alone given that we are in this cosmos, the dream of God.Go within, and you will ultimately feel your unison with the Divine and that will be the moment you will experience that all this struggle on earth was for nothing at all.

I was alone for nine years. Alone, alone, alone. It bothered me. But I didn't realize I was growing and healing at the same time. I found my mate when I was ready and it happened without my actively looking. It was just...time and I was finally open to a long-term commitment.

Since birth. Loneliness bothers me. When being alone turns to loneliness I am troubled and sad. If I am just simply alone, then at least I have myself, because I'll never leave me.

We are never alone. The Father is with us and Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide us. Knowing this helps in times we feel like we are in this by ourselves. God's got us. I am never lonely. Not even on a day when it looks like everything is upaide down and there is no other person around. God is so good.

Being alone is cool, being lonely is a horse of a different colour....isn't it odd that we feel lonely, thus get into a relationship and eventually just want that person to leave us alone....
and 3 years it's been cool, not always fun. but cool

Been flying solo for a little over half a year, and I'm loving it so far, lol. Being single has it's advantages and disadvantages. I'm loving the advantages, although at times I do miss having somebody there for me, I understand now is not the right time.
