My friend got killed because of it :'(| do NOT use it at all or even go to it for music. It is way bad. It was even on the news the other day about bad stuff also so do NOT go there take my advice. u wouldn't want to have to go to a funeral because of it would u?

I agree with you it's terrible. I thought it was stupid from the beginning. Exposing your personal info for the whole world to see. What happened to just chatting with friends in person or over the phone? Yet thick-headed kids continue to use it regardless of bad stuff that's happened-you'd think they could at least take a warning. I think neglectful and naive parents are to blame even more than the kids though.

However, I am sorry to say but I don't think MySpace killed your friend. The person who killed your friend, had to have gotten information from your friend. It could have happened on AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, etc ...

im not going to trash talk about your freind becasue i dont know her. but 90% of the girls that bad things happen to, happen for a reason. I mean if they didnt accept people they didnt know, and didnt talk to random guys and try to meet with them, then nothing wouldhappen. I have a myspace and i dont do stupid things on it. its a place where i catch up with my firend whom i havent talked to in years. if your smart, and dont do stupid things, then nothing bad is going to become of it!

If it's used properly, its really a great tool. Just don't give out your full name or adress to anyone unless you already know them. People can't come and kill you just by looking at your profile.
