Men in the UK are usually brought up in a more traditional enviroment than men in the US. Men there have a history, are somewhat artistic (music/art/fashion sense) and of course the accent. The accent thing is something that american boys just aren't able to grasp, education is also something to consider. I'm sure there are "bad" boys in both public and private schools, but many go to pretigeous and competitive schools so they are at an advantage. Don't worry, UK men DO come to the states to visit and there are nice guys in the states too. Try to find an aussie boy too

I think that's a very general statement. Surely you're not saying that ALL men from the UK are more attractive than men from other parts of the world? That would be a very narrow minded statement. Everyone thinks a foreign accent is cute because it's unusual to them. It wears off once you're around it all the time.

Any accent other than the one you have is more attractive. I'm British my Husband is American (we live in the UK) American men as far as I'm concerned are more helpful around the hiuse than Brit men, more respectful to their wives and will work more for the sake of their families, only thing worse is American men can come off as arrogant whereas Brit men don't

I KNOW, lol. I think it's mainly to do with the whole "invasion" of British actors in Hollywood lately...
Basically, I feel it all started from Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice and the male romantic lead from it Mr. Darcy, whose become the prime example for all things British - English men!
Like Darcy, Englishmen are reserved, have a self-deprecating humor & deeply intriguing, and of course it's all in the accent too.

Yes, it's the accent. Almost any man with almost any accent is more attractive than a boring old American guy ;) (that's why I married and Aussie). Two fairly unattractive men sitting there, then you hear a British accent out of one of them, and suddenly he's beautiful lol

Perhaps it really is only because we are IN the 'UK' (Britain, if you don't mind, madam). I wonder if we are so attractive out of our native land?
Maybe it IS the accent, after all ... though I CAN assure you that my accent is as good horizontal as it is vertical ;)

No way! US men are more into lookin good esp california, cos they groom, themselves and have more carisma. i dont find uk guys hot and im from london!
p.s french/italian/new zealand men are hot
