I love the goth look. All black. But I'm really not feeling the eyeliner on emo guys.

my son is a jock but alot of his friends are so called "emo's" for the most part they are really good kids! No different than the rest.....their just trying to find there way. I think the look can get a little extreme, but this is America and freedom of expression rocks!!!

I'm not a parent, nor an Emo or Punk, but I think you need to let them be who they are. This is their way of expressing individuality and they eventually grow out of it anyway. If you're concerned about it, don't be. It's just a style and attitude.

I think lots of people go thru the goth/punk phase...i did for about a year...my mom tried to get me to buy clothes that were different colors than black but thats what i got when we went school shopping and she just let me do my own thing
they arent really any different than other kids, just dress diff tryin to be different and individuals

I honestly don't know wat "emo" is, but if your asking because your kid is emo/punk . . . I don't think that's very fair to talk about him or her. But I'm just a kid. . . Lexi - age 11

Do you remember beatniks?
It doesn't matter what they dress like, just if their
head is in the right place.
