"When I said I would die a bachelor, I did not think I should live till I were married." Much Ado about Nothing - Act 5 Scene 3. Spoken by Benedict when he realizes in his in love with Beatrice.

I meet my wife (of 33 years) while we were both working backstage on a production of "Much Ado". I proposed to her with line above. "Much Ado" remains one of our favorites, and we often quote lines from it to each other.

"All the world is a stage and men and women merely players........................." I forgot all the rest but i would say that is my favorite because it is so true. The world does seem like a stage. another quote would be "To be or not to be" so there are at least two quotes right there.
