My wife was a very bad cook at first, But i resolve the bad cooking habit of her's by taking charge of what i wanted so i started cooking myself and let her watch what i cooked. And whatcha know she's like an Iron Chef now recipe book's and recipe's on the internet provide many tasty treats. Get her to help you out with the preperations turn the gloomy day of bad cooking into somthing fun for you and her. Enjoy

That's a tough one. If you both have the time and you both have the means to do it I'd say both of you enroll in some cooking classes. Then it doesn't look like your telling her she's a bad cook. You're both experiencing the same thing and you just might learn a thing, or two, about yourselves and each other.

You can do better? If not, learn how and take over. Better yet, learn together.

Unless, this is a problem with ethnic cuisine/cross culture. If so, plan on spending time in the drive thru, because people tend to cook what they have lived. That won't change much.

Hi, why don't you talk with her, and tell her how you feel. Ask her if you could both go shopping together, then look for foods that you like and ask her if she could cook them or you could cook with her. Or you could buy her a new cookbook as a thoughtful present.
If your too afraid to talk to her- she might get upset, then you could buy frozen ready made meals and just warm them up in the microwave. For ex: chicken nuggets, fish sticks....
Good Luck!

If you have time, demonstrate to her completely w/ all ingredients, how to cook your favorite food. Or buy for her an easy-to-follow recipe book where ingredients are easily available in the store near you. Or cook by yourself, that's included in your wife's package for marrying her, I bet she never told you she knows how to cook when you were still singles???!!!

Pick the food/recipes you like and start cooking and experimenting with her. Encourage her to cook those for you in the future.

You should both learn how to cook. It's such an important skill that men should learn these days as many women nowadays couldn't fry eggs.

Take over the cooking or try to teach how to do it better.

Learn to cook so she wont have to, or shut up and eat it, especially if you have been telling her that she is a great cook!
